Self-nominations are sought to take up post immediately to serve for two years in the following regions: 

• Kent, Surrey and Sussex 
• London (All London Boroughs including Richmond and the Essex areas of Basildon, Brentwood & Thurrock) 
• Yorkshire & Humber (East, North, South & West Yorkshire, and Northern Lincolnshire) (from September 2025)

Role description:

1. Setting up local networks for trainees in your area to stay in touch and discuss training issues.
2. Gathering feedback about training issues in your deanery and feeding this back the 91探花 Council via the trainee representatives prior to each council meeting.
3. Regular contact with Consultant regional 91探花 representatives to discuss opportunities and ideas for improving CCH training locally.
4. Informing trainees within your deanery about local and national courses relevant to Community Paediatrics.
5. Liaising with 91探花 about local courses in your area so these can be advertised on the 91探花 website.
6. Promoting 91探花 events and 91探花 news magazine within your region and encouraging trainees of all levels in community paediatrics within your deanery to write for the magazine.
7. Getting involved in 91探花 projects currently on the go, e.g. setting up resources to help with Community GRID interviews.

Eligibility:

This role is aimed at ST6-ST8 trainees in Community Paediatrics. GRID or non-GRID trainees in Community Child Health and Neurodisability are welcome to apply. We ask that applicants are either current members of 91探花 or are willing to join.
